Music Under the Stars

Festival Overview

Every concert is broadcast into Seattle Parks for audiences to enjoy chamber music in a casual, comfortable environment. The Music Under the Stars series is the perfect event to pack a picnic and bring your friends to the park and listen to these audio-only broadcasts.

Before the broadcast and during intermission, talented student musicians perform live.

Last year over 3,500 people enjoyed our broadcasts. We went to Delridge Playfield in West Seattle, Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill, Freeway Park in downtown Seattle, and Columbia Park in Columbia City.

Details for the 2019 program will be announced in March.

This is one of Seattle’s greatest summer traditions! Thank you for bringing great music into our parks.
